10 Cruise Ships in South Florida This Summer

Ten cruise ships are remaining in south Florida this summer! Three ships sailing Caribbean cruises will be berthed at Port Everglades this summer, while seven summer cruise ships will be based in PortMiami.

Two lines will operate ships out of Port Everglades this summer. Three cruise-ship line will operate out of PortMiami this summer. Your choices for Caribbean cruise out of south Florida this summer include:

Port Everglades

All three ships moored at Port Everglades this summer will make trips to the Eastern Caribbean. Trips to the Western Caribbean and the Southern Caribbean also embark from Port Everglades this summer.

Royal Caribbean International

  • Oasis of the Seas. One of the largest cruise ships on earth, this 16-deck vessel carries a maximum of nearly 5,400 passengers. Will alternate Western Caribbean tours with Eastern Caribbean tours. All summer voyages will last seven nights.
  • Independence of the Seas. Another large ship, this 15-deck vessel carries a maximum of nearly 4,400 passengers. Also alternates Western Caribbean tours with Eastern Caribbean tours. All summer voyages also will last seven nights.

Carnival Cruise Lines

  • Carnival Conquest. One of the hardest working ships in the Caribbean, this 13-deck vessel carries a maximum of nearly 3,000 passengers. In addition to five-day and eight-day Eastern Caribbean cruises this summer, the ship will make eight-day runs to the Southern Caribbean.

Port Miami

Three cruise ships based in Miami this summer will be running weekend cruises to the Bahamas. Carnival also will operates ships headed to the Southern Caribbean and the Western Caribbean from Miami, while Norwegian will operate a ship that travels to the Eastern Caribbean from Miami.

Carnival Cruise Lines

  • Carnival Ecstasy. One of the most experienced ships in the Carnival fleet, this 12-deck vessel carries a maximum of 2,634 passengers. Will sail four-day and three-day Caribbean cruises this summer, with weekends in the Bahamas and weekdays in Key West and Cozumel.
  • Carnival Victory. Featuring great pool adventures, this 13–deck vessel carries a maximum of 2,758 passengers. Will sail four-day and five-day Western Caribbean cruises this summer.
  • Carnival Glory. Filled with on-board dining options, this 13-deck vessel carries a maximum of 2,974 passengers. Will sail seven-day cruises to the Western Caribbean this summer.
  • Carnival Breeze. Known for its entertainment venues, this 15-deck vessel carries a maximum of 3,690 passengers. Will sail six-day Southern Caribbean cruises this summer.

Norwegian Cruise Line

  • Norwegian Sky. One of the most experienced ships in the Norwegian line, this 12-deck vessel carries a maximum of 1,928 passengers. Will alternate between four-day and three-day trips to the Bahamas this summer.
  • Norwegian Gateway. One of the largest ships in the Norwegian line, this 18-deck ship carries a maximum of 3,963 passengers. Will sail seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises this summer.

Royal Caribbean International

  • Majesty of the Seas. One of the most experienced ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet, this 13-deck vessel carries a maximum of 2,744 passengers. Will sail seven-day trips to the Bahamas and Key West, as well as three-day weekend trips to the Bahamas this summer.
